The Tribe

Well almost. We’re featured here because one of us will be your main point of contact in the first instance, and together, we take responsibility for every project. We love what we do and we think it shows. It shows in the work we do and it shows in the talented people that we work with.

Like the rest of the team we each have our specialties, so read on and then get in touch with whoever you think can best help you.

The Tribe

Gareth

Gareth
Managing Director

Gareth launched Tribe in 2009, after accruing years of experience in-house and agency. Gareth holds overall responsibility and is hands on to say the least. He gets involved to varying degrees in every project, no matter what it is. A true all-rounder skilled in strategy and creative, his passion for social innovation and multi-channel campaigns is matched only by his devotion to Manchester City. gareth@tribecomms.com

Anna

Anna
Account Director

Anna has energy, passion, expertise, and is super organised – all reasons why clients love having her on board. We love her ability to understand what clients want, her creativity, and the fact that everything she does has real impact. Her planning and project management skills are legendary, as is her resourcefulness – all the while she’s calm and focused, even when halfway up a mountain in the rain. anna@tribecomms.com

The Tribe

Helen

Helen
Insight & Planning Director

If you want to get closer to your audience, then Helen is your contact. Her passion for consumer closeness will lead you to a new, far deeper understanding of the people you’re communicating with – and that can really catapult brands and change behaviours. Helen’s ability to get right to the heart of the matter makes her our eyes and ears. Her professional interest in people is enhanced by her frequent field work in bars and cafes. helen@tribecomms.com

Jennie

Jennie
Account Director

Jennie’s got a classic marketing background and cut her teeth in the consumer healthcare arena, before moving into food. While working for Kraft, she realised her passions were distinctly creative and people-focused, so she stepped agency-side and gained renown for getting the most out of teams, developing consumer insight initiatives and working on highly innovative projects. When she’s not at work, Jennie enjoys being a source of embarrassment to her nearest and dearest. Hey, you’ve got to have a hobby. jennie@tribecomms.com

The Tribe

Alice

Alice
Senior Account Manager

A qualified paediatric nurse, with more years’ experience than she’d care to mention in sales and marketing. On top of her first-class brand and project management skills, Alice is a talented copywriter and her specialist medical knowledge and extensive experience in the health, well-being and nutrition sectors combine perfectly with her love of literature, language and Geordie vernacular. alice@tribecomms.com

Joe

Joe
Account Executive

As a reliable and organised individual with a passion for keeping customers happy, Joe is determined to fulfil his potential after recently obtaining a BA (Hons) degree in Business and Marketing Management from Oxford Brookes University. Having tasted work at the likes of Rolls Royce and Oxford United Football Club, Joe isn’t short of ambition in terms of where he wants to be.

Being a keen sports fan, the only thing that would make him happier than a successful career in marketing would be if Liverpool Football Club won the title – he will continue to work hard (and dream) upon both of these cases…

Susie

Susie
Account Executive

Susie’s taken the scenic route to Tribe: her background’s in Social Housing management. Susie’s worked with several housing associations, where she was responsible for tenant liaison and management of staff. We have no doubt this is where she gained her fabulous organising skills. At Tribe, Susie looks after Tribe Mums, our research panel of pregnant women and new mums, so it’s not just the immediate team who enjoy the benefit of her super friendly and efficient approach. Out of the office, Susie loves all things vintage – furniture, clothes… her husband.

We know the space you’re in influences who you are, how you think and the way you work, which is why we’ve made our home in a creative hub surrounded by artists, wild flowers and beehives. Yes, beehives. Einstein said, “If the bee disappears from the surface of the earth, man would have no more than four years to live” – and who are we to argue with him?

Come and visit whenever you get the chance – we know you’ll love it here too.
