Stamping out Stigma.
5 Boroughs Partnership NHS Foundation Trust commissioned us to create a strategy and campaign that would educate the public about the realities of mental health and learning disabilities and help tackle the stigma that exists in society. The multi-award-winning result was ‘Stamp Out Stigma’, that uses the familiar rhyme ‘Sticks and Stones’ and smashed the target of 100,000 public pledges in its first year.
Our integrated communications campaign was based on making a pledge and included a suite of visually compelling materials, website, media relations, social media platforms, partner events, key-stage activity packs for schools, and internal training sessions so that employees could act as advocates to the campaign and play a part in generating support.
The campaign secured high-profile endorsement from Stephen Fry, Alistair Campbell and several premier league football and rugby league clubs and is still running under client management having collected many awards along the way.
